DYNAMICUBE II (table lamp)
Dynamicube II is an enlightened cube (15x15 cm) which may be decomposed and shaped in many positions.
The project takes inspiration from the geometry of the cube and its simple decomposition.
A complete revolution of its shape may be done with a few easy movements: the outer surfaces of the cube all become inner surfaces and vice versa.
The lamp creates a paradox: when the bright faces are turned towards the interior it creates a lantern effect that does not really exist. As a matter of fact there is no light bulb or light source at the center of the object: it's the structure itself of the cube that creates the light seen from outside.
Dynamicube II is made of four square surfaces and four triangular ones. Four square faces of the cube are OLED panels (also an option is to add four further OLED triangular panels): the OLED are both on the external and internal faces of the cube.
The project takes inspiration from the geometry of the cube and its simple decomposition.

Dynamicube II may be controlled remotely by WiFi controls through a sophisticated web interface that goes beyond the usual App.
It has two innovative skills: the lamp may activate its own WiFi net which may be linked to a client such as PC, Mac, iPad or iPhone. Alternatively it may connect to an already existing WiFi net, such as in the office or at home, and be controlled by other devices connected either to the net or remotely via internet.
The second skill, also very innovative, is that it is not necessary to download any App in order to control the lamp: Dynamicube II is online with a very advanced website.
Using dynamic pages, HTML-5 and Ajax technology, the lamp may be controlled remotely by any client using a browser.
The lamp may be turned on and dimming or other special effects may be used very easily: the system is extremely intuitive and accessible through the control page of Dynamicube II.
